Brazil publishes in the AIP (Aeronautical Information Publication) the international aerodromes, international alternate aerodromes, as well as other national airports of great importance as determined by DECEA. Information about these aerodromes can be found in Subsection AD 1.3 (INDEX OF AERODROMES AND HELIPORTS) and Section AD 2
(AERODROMES and OTHER AERODROMES) of the AIP. The corresponding Aeronautical Charts are available for download on AISWEB at https://aisweb.decea.mil.br/?i=cartas. |
All aerodromes in the country, including public, private, civil, military, national, and international ones, can be consulted at the following link:

An international aerodrome is an entry and exit point for international air traffic, where all procedures related to customs, immigration, health, animal and plant quarantine, and other similar processes are applied. These aerodromes have air traffic services available on a regular basis.
|
An international alternate aerodrome is an entry and exit point for international air traffic, where customs, immigration, health, and other similar procedures may be applied. However, air traffic services are provided on a restricted basis, only for previously
authorized flights. |
A national aerodrome is exclusively intended for domestic air traffic, allowing the operation of civil flights under certain conditions.
